Alumni awards

Call for annual nominations opens January 1

Eligibility: Any alumni of the college who earned their degree more than 5 years ago
Deadline: September 1


Raymond D. Ediger

The college’s Distinguished Alumni Awards are given to honor graduates for career accomplishments and excellence in teaching and research.

  • Veterinary Alumni Award. To honor distinguished DVM graduates for excellence in practice or excellence in teaching and research.
    • Excellence in practice. For outstanding contributions in clinical, diagnostic, military, public health, regulatory, or other practice service.
    • Excellence in teaching and research. For outstanding contributions to excellence in teaching and/or research.
  • Graduate Alumni Award. To honor distinguished M.S. or Ph.D. graduates for excellence in research, teaching, service, or business.
  • Outstanding Service Award. Given to an individual who has made extraordinary contributions to animals and/or the WSU College of Veterinary Medicine. Individuals need not be an alum of the college to be nominated.
  • Undergraduate Alumni Award. To honor distinguished B.S. graduates for excellence in research, teaching, service, or business.

Reunions
